There was great demand for the manure and compost that Vinka Reeves very kindly organised for the site in December – much higher than the previous year. Just to give you an idea of how much muck was spread, 8 full trailer-loads (each trailer load is approximately 50-60 bags) were delivered and a total of 434 bags of manure and compost were sold and collected, with a few bags of each left over. In addition, an individual plotholder has ordered a full trailer-load for their own plot only, and some other plotholders have shown an interest in doing the same.
This was an heroic effort from Vinka, and many thanks are due to her for organising the deliveries and shovelling and bagging the orders, with help from several plot holders.
