The Haslemere allotment site is owned by Pathways, a not-for-profit organisation that delivers services which meet the needs of local people, focusing primarily on housing, particularly for older people, as well as grants and fundraising, and allotment provision.
Pathways is a charity with a long history dating back over 400 years, when Edward Vaughan left in his 1612 will bequests for the provision of meat, coal and bread for the poor. Over the centuries, it has amalgamated several smaller charities and evolved into the very modern organisation that it is today. Pathways’ vision is to see communities transformed so that everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Haslemere and Northfields (also owned by Pathways) became self-managed sites in April 2014. We are very grateful for the commitment, support and advice that Pathways continues to offer us.
